A jobless man in Japan who was caught possessing unauthorized Viagra tablets at his home for the purpose of selling them has been arrested. Takeo Kubo, 61, a resident of Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan, is accused of violating the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. He admitted to the allegations during questioning. Aichi Prefectural Police are grilling him over the allegations that he placed advertisements in newspapers and sold Viagra tablets to consumers across the country.

Prefectural police have confiscated a list of customers from his home, which shows that he had sold Viagra tablets to some 2,500 people in 43 of the nation’s 47 prefectures, police said. In the specific case for which he was arrested, Kubo possessed at his home about 300 tablets of unauthorized Viagra, totaling about 220 grams.
