Seven accused of running a fake Viagra ring are going to face prosecution in the near future. Wang Yinliang, 47, and six other suspects are believed to have produced and sold fake versions of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra in Zhengzhou in Central China’s Henan Province, according to Zhang Shujun, vice-director of the Zhengzhou Municipal Bureau of Public Security.
Wang and the gang are accused of selling 9.7 million worth of fake tablets of erectile dysfunction drug Viagra between the end of 2003 and August 2005. They’ve made a whopping profit of 730,000 yuan (US$90,000) from the illegal production and sales. Zhang and his colleagues raided the hideout for its production in Zhengzhou in September and all of the suspects were caught at site. Quantities of semi-completed versions of the drug were also discovered in the procedure.

According to a case study performed on more than 1,800 U.S. seniors, it has been revealed that over 84% of them will save more money buying their prescription medications from Canadian pharmacy as compared to Medicare Part D. Ordering from Canada is simpler, easier and cheaper as compared to Medicare Part D.
The study verified the fact that seniors would spend less money ordering their drugs from a Canadian pharmacy than by enrolling in Medicare Part D, the Bush administration’s controversial drug reimbursement plan. During the study, many seniors commented that the Medicare program was not worth the hassle to understand and enroll. Consequently, many seniors preferred the simplicity and convenience of ordering from Canadian pharmacy as compared to Medicare Part D.

Men who become impotent have a higher risk of developing cardiovascular problems than those who have normal sexual function, according to a study. Impotence or erectile dysfunction is linked to a 27 percent higher risk of heart- related events such as angina, heart attack or stroke. The link was similar to those found with high cholesterol, cigarette smoking or a family history of heart attacks.
The study is the first to show a strong association between erectile dysfunction and heart disease according to researchers. The findings emphasizes on the fact that doctors should evaluate the cardiovascular health of men who seek impotence drugs such as Pfizer Inc.’s Viagra. Erectile function is a vascular process therefore it’s not surprising that you might see a problem with blood-vessel health earlier with sexual function than with the heart.

Popping the famous erectile dysfunction (ED) drug Viagra or any of its variant by thinking it to be an aphrodisiac could be dangerous for health as the tablet is a specific drug meant for treating and curing ED, a particular sexual disorder. Therefore, it should not be considered as a sex stimulant as most of its users believe.
Viagra tablets containing sildenafil citrate are specific prescription drugs that are effectively used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. This drug needs to be taken under a doctor’s supervision and not purchased over the counter. The ED drug is effective only on those patients who are suffering from erectile dysfunction, especially the ones who are suffering from long-standing diabetes. If a normal person takes this tablet, it will have hardly any effect.

According to recent studies, a low-glycemic-load diet enhanced weight loss among certain volunteers on a reduced-calorie diet for six months. It was noticed that the significant level of weight loss was limited to those among the study participants who where considered high-insulin-secreting. The findings could lead to more customized weight-loss strategies in the future, though the results must be replicated in a larger study before being considered definitive.
The study was performed at the HNRCA as part of a trial funded by the National Institutes of Health. Half of the participants were randomly assigned to a low-glycemic-load diet of 40 percent carbohydrates, 30 percent protein and 30 percent fat. All participants lost some weight as a result of restricting calories, but those who lost the most had high baseline levels of insulin secretion and ate the low-glycemic-load diet.
Apart from low glycemic diet, weight loss can be attained by using diet pills such as phentermine. Phentermine diet pills are an effective means of attaining short term weight loss.

Due to poor sales of Viagra, the drug meant for treating erectile dysfunction, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer is moving to “educate” medical specialists or doctors. When Pfizer launched Viagra in India late last December, it was expected to become an instant hit. But a month on, the drug is just not moving off the shelves, if chemists in Mumbai are to be believed.
The reasons for bad sales are Viagra’s steep price and the availability of more effective next-generation drugs. Viagra is priced very high and just not selling. It is an investment that is just not giving results. Sexologists believe Viagra was launched a little late in India. The drugs such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are meant to help a person to get rid of erectile dysfunction.

Erectile dysfunction drugs have multiple benefits. According to a recent report, the erectile dysfunction (ED) drug Levitra is helpful for men who have ED caused by spinal cord injury. Experts suggested that more attention needs to be given to sexuality after spinal cord injury to meet the needs of the affected patients.
According to recently conducted study, it has been noticed that erectile function improved with ED drug Levitra, known chemically as vardenafil, whereas there was little improvement in erectile function in the placebo group. The result indicated that men treated with Levitra had a 76 percent success rate for penetration and a 59 percent success rate for maintaining the erection. Levitra, Viagra and Cialis are three most appropriate treatments available for ED.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) drug Viagra has made a lot of people very happy, but ironically it might also have made their outlook rather blue. A man taking high doses of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra report seeing a blue haze, but until now nobody has studied whether normal doses of the drug affect vision. And since most people turn off the lights after taking Viagra, such side effects are likely to be under-reported in most of the cases.
To investigate this matter, investigators took a standard 100-milligram dose of Viagra. To test if the drug disrupted their ability to pick out changes in images against a blue background, the men watched a flashing red circle on a blue screen. Each found that their ability to distinguish very high-frequency flashes from solid patterns was reduced for up to two hours after taking the Viagra though the problem was temporary. Viagra, Cialis and Levitra are widely used ED drugs and they’ve provided relief to millions of ED sufferers.
